In tears, Bia do Brás celebrates her first soap opera: ‘A dream come true’

Beatriz Reis, Bia do Brás, expressed on social media this Friday (23) her happiness at being cast for a role in “Família É Tudo” (Globo). The former BBB said that the achievement represents the realization of a dream, since she made many sacrifices to be able to train as an actress, even before entering the reality show.

Bia appeared on Instagram in tears, with the script for Globo’s 7pm soap opera in her hands. “This script represents the struggle with my family for many years,” she said, recalling the times when, since she was six years old, she told her mother that she wanted to be an actress.

“It represents that Bia who sold her clothes at the Feira do Rolo to pay for theater classes. Whose parents stopped building the house and slept on the floor for years because they believed in their daughter’s dream,” she recalled, while old photos and videos, in which she appears acting, played on the video.

Bia was cast after Globo was banned by the courts from casting Gil do Vigor, a former BBB without an acting license.

The actress will play the gossipy Selminha Veneno. Alongside her is comedian Rafael Infante, known for working at Porta dos Fundos and the series “Vai Que Cola”. Infante will play Toni Linguinha. They will make life hell for Andrômeda (Ramille) and Chicão (Gabriel Godoy).
