The Houthi terrorist group released a propaganda video that appears to show them hitting the Greek-owned oil tanker, M/T Sounion on Friday morning in the southern Red Sea, after being evacuated on Wednesday by the French navy.
It can be seen in the video a powerful explosionh, and then thick clouds of smoke.
The tanker, which is filled with over 150,000 tons of crude oil, burning derelict about 77 nautical miles off the coast of Yemen.
According to reports, the attack took place at 6:15 am (Greece time) by two pirate ships: in one there were from two to five people and in the second more than ten.
The ship was struck on the starboard side and lost power.
