Days after Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck announced their divorce, the actor was seen with Kick Kennedy, 36, which sparked rumors of a romance between the two. However, on Tuesday (27), Ben denied that there is any kind of romantic relationship.
According to People magazine, Jen Allen, Affleck’s spokesperson, sent a statement: “There is no truth to any of this. I don’t know if they even know each other.”
Kick is the daughter of millionaire Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and sister of Conor Kennedy, fiancé of singer Giulia Be. They are part of the family of former US President John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1963 during a motorcade in Dallas, Texas.
The rumor emerged on Monday (26), after several sources told the magazine that Affleck and Kick had “spent time together“, and would have been connected since mid-June.
Since the announcement of Affleck and Lopez’s separation, speculation about the reasons for their divorce has been emerging. The release of letters exchanged by the couple since they began dating in 2002 contributed to the rumors.
During their two-year marriage, the singer filmed a documentary called “The Affleck Greatest Love Story Never Told” to accompany the release of a new album. According to British newspaper The Mirror, in the film, J-Lo said that Ben kept all of their love letters and correspondence from when they started dating in 2002 until today. And this exposure reportedly angered Affleck.
