How has your professional life been for the past six years? Larissa Nunes, 28, from São Paulo, has nothing to complain about. During this time, the actress has played seven roles in different streaming series — the most recent of which, “Vidas Bandidas”, has just premiered on Disney+.

Larissa was part of the cast of “3%” (Netflix), “Coisa Mais Linda” (Netflix), “Spider” (Paramount+), “Clube Spelunca” from HBO/TNT/Warnpara, “O Rei da TV” (Disney), and “Americana” (bilingual production from Disney+, with no release date yet set). She also has a soap opera on her resume, “Além da Ilusão” (2022).

If the actress is still practically unknown among broadcast TV audiences, in most of her work on streaming, her participation has been far from small. “I have tried to stay in the main cast,” she says, without false modesty. “It’s not a question of vanity, you know? I have fought to occupy prominent spaces because of my competence, my love and my dedication.”

For the actress, the platforms have opened new doors to experimentation — and she herself is proof of that. “People are there to bet on new names. And that’s great.” In “Vidas Bandidas”, by Gustavo Bonafé, Larissa continues to take center stage.

She plays Marina, an honest woman who ends up having a relationship with not just one criminal (her boyfriend, played by Thomás Aquino), but with two. She also ends up having an affair with her lover’s friend and accomplice. “Marina surprised me because she didn’t have such an obvious destiny,” she says.

About to debut in a musical, “Nossa História com Chico Buarque”, she says that acting came into her life during her adolescence, due to behavioral issues. “I was very isolated and then they suggested therapy. Since we didn’t have much money and I lived near a SESC, I decided to do theater”, says Larissa, who now wants to enter the wonderful world of soap operas. “We know that there are other spaces, but it’s a type of program that is in the soul of Brazilians.”
