‘Unfortunately, we have to live with this’, says Sula Miranda after robbery in São Paulo

Robbed in São Paulo in broad daylight, singer Sula Miranda said that the whole situation is “a huge inconvenience” since she “works with her cell phone”. In a video sent to Encontro (Globo), she lamented the incident that occurred in an upscale area of ​​the capital on Monday (2).

“Unfortunately, I can say that I am yet another victim of the lack of security in the city of São Paulo. We are working, with other colleagues, at the door of a broadcasting station,” he began.

“You have the videos there with the image of the audacious person, this young man who has no shame, is not afraid to walk around with his face bare, without fear of being photographed, filmed. Who knows, if the authorities really work more effectively here in São Paulo, they will be able to [prendê-lo]”, he said.

At the time of the robbery, the singer was preparing to record a program for Rede Vida with Claudete Troiano, singer Ovelha and journalist Claudia Tenório. She was filming Claudete on the street getting out of a car when she was attacked by a member of the so-called bike gang.

“Unfortunately, we have to live with this, right? There’s no security at all in the city. And it’s a huge inconvenience, because we work with our cell phones,” he said.

According to the Public Security Department of SP, the Civil Police are investigating the case. The incident was registered at the Electronic Police Station and forwarded to the 23rd Police District (Perdizes), which is responsible for the area where the incident occurred.
