The legendary guitarist of Queen, Sir Brian Mayrevealed that he suffered a stroke that left him temporarily unable to use his left arm. The 77-year-old made the announcement via a video he posted on social media.

“I didn’t want to say anything then, because I didn’t want to cause any concern. I don’t want sympathy” he added, asking his fans not to send messages of support as he doesn’t want to fill up his inbox.

The animal rights activist said he is now “compulsorily housebound”. “The good news is I’m fine. I just follow the instructions, which are basically to do nothing. I’m not allowed to drive, fly a plane or get my heart rate up… but I’m fine.”
