An amazing concert that once again the All Together We Can and SKAI organized in Kallimarmaro with huge success. A concert with many moments that will be forever etched in the memory of those who were there, and there were many of them. the stadium was packed with people worshiping the great Greek lyricist, Lefteris Papadopoulos and all the artists, the huge names who participated in this unique evening.

But if we had to pick just one moment it would definitely be her reappearance Haroula Alexiou on stage live four years after announcing that she was retiring from singing due to problems with her voice.

It was June 2020 when, speaking on the show at the time, journalist Fotis Apergis “The right time” had made this announcement saying:

“I have moved away from singing completely. I can’t sing like I used to sing. And I don’t agree to go on and do this if I can’t do it well. You will hear me in a little while in a song with Yasmin Levi, a duet we did together in which I have written the lyrics in Greek and she the music and lyrics in Spanish. I recorded it last summer. It’s a ballad that I could sing, but my voice doesn’t work anymore, my voice can’t hear me and I said it’s better to stop. It’s not right..”.

From then until last night, Haroula Alexiou has never sung live again. But last night she had something magical and when Lefteris Papadopoulos asked her for it, Haroula didn’t refuse. He went up to the stage where at that time Miltos Paschalidis was on it, who discreetly went further back and taking the microphone said:

“Lefteri, you know I closed my curtains a long time ago. But today I will open this curtain to let your light in and whatever this voice can do, it will do. Because they always called you leader and you can’t say no to the leader in front of you…”

And then she began to sing the piece “The leader” knowing the absolute apotheosis of the world that showed her its love in every way.
