Gusttavo Lima used social media this Thursday (5) to talk about the plane seized during Operation Integration, which resulted in the arrest of influencer Deolane Bezerra on suspicion of money laundering. The country singer denied being the owner of the aircraft, detained by the Civil Police of São Paulo the previous day, and said he had sold the property last year.
“The baby can’t get a week off! They’re saying that my plane was arrested, people… I have nothing to do with this. Get me out of this. This plane was sold last year,” said Gusttavo, who is filming in Mykonos, one of the most famous islands in Greece. “Honor and honesty were the only things I’ve always had in my life, and that’s not negotiable,” he added.
Last Tuesday (3), Gusttavo celebrated his 35th birthday with a small group of friends aboard a superyacht. The vessel with a panoramic elevator, seven guest cabins, a VIP suite and a lighted gym on the terrace has a daily rental price of 200 thousand euros, the equivalent of more than R$ 1 million, at the current exchange rate.
According to the police, the aircraft, registration PR-TEN, manufactured in 2008 by Cessna Aircraft, is owned by Balada Eventos e Produções Ltda, a company owned by Gusttavo Lima. In a statement, the singer’s team stated that the plane was sold through a purchase and sale agreement, duly registered with the Brazilian Aeronautical Registry (RAB) of the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) to a company, which is registered with the agency as an operator until the transfer process is approved.
Operation Integration was launched in April 2023 to identify and dismantle a criminal organization focused on illegal gambling and money laundering. 19 arrest warrants and 24 search warrants were served, as well as seizure of assets such as luxury cars, real estate, aircraft and vessels, and valuables in Campina Grande (PB), Barueri (SP), Cascavel (PR), Curitiba, and Goiânia.
The police also managed to freeze financial assets worth R$2.1 billion, seize passports, suspend firearms licenses and cancel firearms registrations. The warrants were issued by the 12th Criminal Court of the District of Recife.
