Beyoncé, 43, is always up-to-date on fashion trends and her search for designer clothes is not limited to the traditional brands Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors or Ralph Lauren, for example. The singer also likes to support Brazilian brands and chose a look made by a national company to attend the wedding of Sam Greenberg, who worked as her personal assistant for over a decade.
The celebration took place this Saturday (7), and Beyoncé wore a set consisting of a top and a skirt from Farm Rio, a Rio de Janeiro-based company that uses Brazilian prints in its collections. The pieces chosen by the singer are no longer available for sale in Brazil, but there is an official website for the brand in the United States and there is the option to order the outfit.
The set uses a print inspired by black peony flowers and consists of a top with long, loose sleeves and a mini skirt with fringes at the front.
Beyoncé, who has an estimated net worth of $760 million, approximately R$4.3 billion at the current exchange rate, according to Forbes magazine, didn’t pay a lot for the look. Quite the opposite. The ensemble cost a little over R$2,000. On the brand’s sales website, the top costs US$145 (around R$815) and the skirt costs US$240 (around R$1,350).
