About the change in his career from acting to writing – which he practices at the same time – but also the disbelief he encountered, he spoke Kostas Krommidas.

The well-known actor and author he addressed everything he has heard over the course of his career as well as the internet attacks that are common.

“Even now I have doubts about what I write, this insecurity does not change. Well then (s.s. at the beginning of his writing journey) my insecurity was much greater, I didn’t know how to write a novel. I would call and say, let’s say, “now can I go to third party? Can I do this? Can I do that?” and they told me from my publications “of course you can, you’re a writer, do whatever you want. Kill them all.” There I understood that I am the “boss”, that the writer is a little god who can do whatever he wants” he said and continued:

“I had experienced the suspicion as an actor. Even now I read suspicious comments from people. When some people come in, these very few, and write that “it is impossible for him to write the books, some woman will write them for him”, that for me is… I know what I have done! This is also honorable.

That is, the other person makes this comment to you thinking that it will hurt me, but I say “thanks for the compliment! So you do not consider me capable of having written such a good book.’ I have heard and read this comment a lot.”

While he also talked about the hypocrisy of many people who play nice in front of you and say what they want behind your back:

“There are people who, while they have written bad comments, because I have the memory of an elephant and I don’t forget, sometimes they come to talk to me and I say ‘oops, I remember you.’ I have a terrible memory, I don’t always tell them but I remember them and that’s terrible. The keyboard gives a comfort to people to write things.

When it’s in front of you your best friend can play it, hug you and tell you “you’re the best writer in the world” while you know he’s written a comment that says “fuck this book”. Why should schizophrenia scare me? It’s everywhere, some people are schizophrenic.”
