Model Lottie Moss, 26, younger sister of top model Kate Moss, 50, was hospitalized last Friday (13) after overdosing on Ozempic that belonged to a friend. Lottie spoke on her social media and in a podcast hosted by herself about the experience.
Ozempic is a famous medicine that has been wrongly used for rapid weight loss and has become a hit among many celebrities in recent times, including in Brazil.
When describing her experience, the model said that she had an overdose of the medication and had to be hospitalized, and that she had recurring seizures. Lottie also said that she started taking the medication without any medical supervision.
“I was throwing up, it was horrible. I took a lower dosage the first time I took it, then I increased it. I ended up being bedridden for two days, I felt so sick, my weight dropped,” she said on her podcast, called Dream On with Lottie Moss.
“When I was in bed for two days and it was almost over, I just wanted to stop taking it, because it’s not like you can stop taking it, it’s not like a pill that you don’t take when you wake up in the morning, it’s in your system and it’s there,” he added.
“I felt so bad one day that I said to my friend: ‘I can’t drink water, I can’t eat anything, no liquids, nothing. I need to go to the hospital, I’m feeling really bad,'” she concluded.
