Fátima Bernardes arrived at Rock in Rio to a standing ovation from the crowd this Sunday (15). On the third day of the festival, the journalist posed for photos with fans and recorded content for a brand.

Having been away from Globo since February of this year, Fátima gave some news about her new project at the network: “I presented a project that was very well received and we are still going to do the pilot. We should record it by the end of the year. We already have the entire synopsis ready, the guests have been contacted, I am very excited”, she revealed to F5.

“I think I’m really a television person. I like doing television,” said the journalist, who has also been investing in her YouTube channel. “Now I’m discovering myself on the internet,” she says.

Since the Paris Olympics, she has been investing in the virtual channel and says she is loving the experience. “I found it very different. It’s like having an entire broadcasting company in my hands, because I had to set the agenda, edit, and report. But I was very happy with the feedback from people, so I want to invest in it. I also want to talk a little more about issues related to women and motherhood. I feel like there is a lack of this,” says the presenter.

Last week, federal deputy Túlio Gadêlha (Rede-PE), Fátima’s boyfriend, asked the Chamber of Deputies for police protection after receiving death threats. The presenter claims that none of the threats were directed at her.

“As a congressman, he has to make this request, it is an obligation. There is a process in which it will be evaluated whether it is necessary or not. In my case, fortunately, there was nothing. When I was on Jornal Nacional, this also happened a lot. These people who only want to hear what they think is right, do not accept the opposite. It is sad to say this, but it is not the first time and it will not be the only time in his life”, he comments.
