For several years now, Nikos Anadiotis he has moved and lives permanently with his family in his hometown of Aigio. The reasons for their decision had initially to do with the reduction of the cost of living – he has his own house there – but then they appreciated the quality of life in the countryside and today, after his election to the European Parliament, there is no economic issue they remain there and the reason will surprise you.

Nikos Anadiotis spoke today to Olga Lafazani and to Happy Day right from the place he decided to make his residence, the beautiful Aigio.

“We decided together with Vasiliki, these are the advantages we want to have as a life and as a family, they are here, nothing should change them. It’s been quite a few years. We will start this way and God has it,” said MEP Now, Nikos Anadiotis.

–How did Vasiliki react when you first told her that you would run for office?

“Wondered, It went a little out of its waters. He didn’t want to go out of this so-called comfort zone that we had created. I explained to her the reasons I chose it, when she realized it too she was very supportive.”

Where does he live in Brussels?

“At the moment I’m staying in a hotel in Brussels but I want to have a house there. I can’t come and go, I want to have my base, to feel more secure. The questions I will ask in the European Parliament will only concern Greece, I will fight for fewer problems”, says Nikos Anadiotis and continues by admitting that the money he now earns is far above the average:

“The pay of an MEP is higher than the average Greek, but we will not change our lifestyle and our needs as a family, because today you are, tomorrow you are not. I asked my wife if she wants us to send the children to a private school or move to Brussels now that I have become an MEP and she immediately said no.”
