Music legend Elton John has completed his 32nd album.

He delivered the final material to his record label which he had planned to release at the end of the year along with the premiere of the new documentary, ‘Elton John: Never Too Late’.

However, his plans are up in the air as the singer is suffering from a serious infection in one of his eyes, which has left him with impaired vision.

“Elton had been quietly working on the album all year. The original plan was to release it at Christmas and close out the year with his new album and new documentary. But his health has made things uncertain. Some have been surprised that he was able to complete it at the end of the summer and officially deliver it“, a source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column.

The superstar, who is retiring from touring after the ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour’ ends in 2023, recently revealed that there are several new British pop stars he would like to work with.

“Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Charli XCX and Gracie Abrams ruled the summer. They released records with really good songs and brought great joy to the world. It would be my pleasure to sing with any of these artistshe told Variety.
