The judge denied the 54-year-old music mogul bail
The famous rapper, Sean “Diddy” Combsremains in prison after charges of trafficking, sexual abuse, extortion, instead of being in his luxury mansion in Miami Beach. A judge dealing with the case (the second) did not accept his request, namely the payment of bail of 50 million dollars proposed by his lawyers.
On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, US District Judge Andrew L Carter Jr. also rejected Combs’ request to be released – on house arrest with a “bracelet” – citing the possibility that the music mogul could “influence” some witnesses.

Sean “Diddy” Combs He pleads not guilty to all charges against him. Combs’ arrest came about six months after federal authorities investigating trafficking raided his homes in Los Angeles and Miami. The 14-page indictment is particularly heavy, since the music mogul is accused of trafficking, fraud and extortion.
Indeed, in it, according to a Guardian newspaper report, Combs forced his female victims to participate in group sex acts with partners in what he called “freak offs” – sometimes for days at a time – while he himself he recorded videos of the meetings and masturbated on them. The encounters were so physically draining on him and his victims that he allegedly forced them to take drugs.
“For decades, Sean Combs, also known as ‘Puff Daddy’, ‘P Diddy’, ‘Diddy’, ‘PD’ and ‘Love’ abused, threatened and
he coerces women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and hide his behavior”the indictment states.
The indictment also alleges that Combs subjected the victims to various forms of abuse in addition to maintaining control over them through of “physical violence, promises of career opportunities, threats of financial support and by other means, including monitoring their locations, their medical records, controlling their housing and supplying them with controlled substances.”
