The last day of Rock in Rio shows, with Shawn Mendes and Mariah Carey as the main attractions, packed the Cidade do Rock. With tickets sold out, several celebrities came to see the shows this Sunday (22).
Actress and presenter Maisa Silva was one of them. The press, who were waiting to speak with the young woman at the space of one of the festival’s sponsors, were told shortly before she arrived to make her publicity appearance that Maisa would only speak for two or three minutes and on one subject: the festival. Nothing about Globo’s next 6pm soap opera, “Garota do Momento”, in which she will play a villain.
MaĆsa, who was at Rock in Rio for two other days with another brand, said that it is an opportunity to have fun, but also to work. The reporter wanted to know if big events are a good opportunity to earn extra money with “advertising” and “activations”. She looked at a member of the team as if asking for approval. “You don’t need to answer that,” he said. The actress added:
“I think that besides being a job opportunity for me, it’s about the experience they provide for the people who are at the festival. Everyone comes and gets involved, wants to participate in things. I think that, with an entrepreneurial vision as well, I have my own marketing agency, I’m very excited to see how brands reinvent themselves.”
