The destinations included in Time Out’s list may not be well-known places, but they are definitely worth a visit
The world’s coolest… neighborhoods were highlighted by the well-known Time Out magazine. While the most famous parts of a city tend to be suffocating with tourists, there are lesser-known neighborhoods that are worth visiting.
The destinations included in Time Out’s list may not be well-known places, but they are worth a visit thanks to their “culture, community spirit, nightlife, food and drink”, as Time Out comments.
Topping the list is the lively Notre-Dame du Mont district in Marseille, France, famous for its street art and nightlife. It’s a place where “everyone knows each other and helps each other,” according to the owners of local restaurant Razzia.
In Time Out’s number two is the Mers Sultan area, in Casablanca, Morocco, praised by Time Out for its artistic authenticity.
Pererenan in Bali, Indonesia comes in at number three, thanks to what Time Out describes as “unspoiled beaches, cozy cafes, eclectic shops and a laid-back vibe, free of noise and traffic.”
