Singer and actress Zendaya spoke about the demands of fame at a recent screening of “Dune: Part Two” in New York.

When someone in the audience asked her about pop culture celebrity fanatics, she was candid about her experiences. “I feel, often, that I am not suitable for this part” he said according to Deadline. “I love my job, I am very grateful. I love doing the work, I love being on set, I love moments like this – don’t get me wrong – but I’m scared of that part, often.” he clarified.

Zendaya he continued, revealing that he was an introvert as a child. “I was a shy kid, I always have been, and so that part doesn’t come naturally — that’s a huge reason why fashion became important to me because it became like armor to pretend I’m going out and doing the work.” he emphasized.

“I’d like to be a face and for people to see me that way first,” he explained. “I don’t necessarily know if I want or can handle all of that or want to deal with it — some people enjoy the power that comes from that and I don’t know if that’s for me.” Zendaya said.
