Queen Elizabeth II is desperate for not having met her great-granddaughter

The child was born on June 4, 2021, at 11:40 am (local time), “under the trusted care of doctors and staff at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California.” Lilibet, daughter of Meghan Markle, 40, and Prince Harry, 37, arrived in the world at 3.5 kg.

“I heard from people connected with the Royal Family that she [a Rainha Elizabeth 2ª] is desperate to meet the baby,” Hoey said. “And I think she would really love it, I wonder what it would be like, I would love for it to happen,” he added.

The analyst also said that a possible meeting would not have bad proportions even after the constant disagreements between the family. “I am absolutely sure the Queen has no feelings of disapproval towards Harry and Meghan, absolutely none, she would certainly welcome them back if they came,” he said.

Lilibet was named after her great-grandmother, as Queen Elizabeth II’s nickname is Lilibet. The middle name Diana is a reference to the Princess of Wales, who died in a car accident in Paris in 1997.

Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor is the couple’s second child. They are also parents to almost three-year-old Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. The boy was the first interracial baby in the recent history of the British monarchy.

In January, representatives for Harry released a statement saying he wanted to be able to return to the UK so that “his children can get to know their country of origin”.

However, the statement also reported that the Duke and his family could not return to their home due to the security risks posed by Harry’s royal and veteran status, without receiving police protection in the UK.
