The wedding took place in the same church where the funeral of her father, former King Constantine, was held.
The sacrament was performed by the Metropolitan of Syros, Tinos, Andros, Kea and Milos Dorotheos, in the presence of close relatives and friends of the family and the couple.
Groomsmen and bridesmaids for the couple were, among others, Prince Paul, Prince Nicholas, Prince Philip, Princess Maria-Olympia, Prince Achilles-Andreas and Arrietta Morales de Grecia.
Theodora and Matthew had originally planned to marry in May 2020, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the ceremony was postponed to 2023.
However, the new date coincided with a few months of her father’s death in January 2023, so they decided to postpone the wedding again.
