Comedians who promoted a musical party with a Xuxa lookalike received extrajudicial action from the presenter’s office, who didn’t like the joke. In the action, the Rainha dos Baixinhos team notifies them legally and plans to file a lawsuit. When contacted, Xuxa did not respond.

At the party of the band Open Farra, led by Marcelo Zangrandi and Rodrigo Mila, the artist Cintia Lopes, who presents herself as an imitator of Xuxa, appears on stage and sings two songs. The audience present vibrates and interacts with her. The event took place in São José dos Campos (interior of SP) on September 21st.

In the notification, Xuxa’s legal team states that “misleading advertising” had occurred and that the joke negatively affected her image.

In contact with the F5Zangrandi states that the intention was always to bring joy and grace with these actions. “The meme is on the rise and we had the idea of taking the lookalike to stir up the public. The process is completely inappropriate in our opinion. We wouldn’t have liked to upset Xuxa, the objective was completely opposite. To pay homage”, he reinforces.

The presenter’s lawyers ask that the content be deleted and that there be a retraction so that the case does not go forward. Regarding these measures, Zangrandi states that he does not intend to take the video offline. He and Mila made another video and joked about the situation.

“We’re not going to delete the video from our networks, because we’re sure that what we did didn’t hurt anyone. But we don’t want to go through this process. We’re doing shows all over Brazil, growing a lot. We don’t want a fight.”
