The first trailer for the documentary about the great singer Elton John entitled “Never Too Late” has been released by Disney+.

A month ago it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival to positive reviews and today it will be screened at the New York Film Festival.

Filled with revealing interviews, rare archival footage and a new song, ‘Never Too Late’ follows Elton John ‘reminiscing about his life and the amazing early days of his 50-year career on an emotionally charged, special and inspiring journey. As he prepares for his final North American concert at Dodger Stadium, the star travels back in time to recount the ups and downs of his early years and how he overcame adversity, abuse and addiction to become the icon he is today,” according to the summary.

The direction is signed by Oscar nominee R.J. RJ Cutler and the English singer’s husband David Furnish while also sharing the production with Trevor Smith.

“Elton John: Never Too Late” will debut in limited theaters in the US and UK on November 15 before premiering on Disney+ on December 13.
