You have set a goal to lengthen them hair you, but despite the effort, you don’t see the result you want? There is a common mistake you can make when washing your hair that can negatively affect your hair growth. Instead of helping the process, you may unwittingly delay it.

Ask yourself: When you apply the shampoo, do you rub it along the length of your hair and not just on the scalp? If so, then without realizing it, you may be causing damage to the hair. Rubbing the shampoo into the lengths does not clean the hair, on the contrary it “injures” it. Hair bristles have scales along them, which open when wet. If you rub your hair vigorously, these scales are destroyed, resulting in split ends, dehydrating the ends and breaking the hair more easily.

To avoid this, focus on the scalp. That’s where you have to rub your shampoo, because that’s where the dirt and oils accumulate. Create a lather on your head and then let it work its way down to the ends as you rinse your hair. In this way, you clean the lengths without causing damage.

By following these tips, you will see a real difference in the texture and length of your hair.
