He grew up in the space and learned it inside and out
H Aphrodite of Liandou it was mathematically predetermined that he would be involved in some way with the artistic field. With two known parents, the Evelina Papoulia (actress, dancer and painter) and Giorgos Liandos (actor and director) from an early age she knew the pros and cons of the profession and loved it.
Her first appearance was in the series “Land of Olives” and this year she joined the cast of the series “The Beach” after staying out for a year. She herself spoke about everything to Panagiotis Vazaios and to Sozi, which is published.
-After “Land of Olives” were you anxious about your next television step?
“The truth is, I wanted my next step to be very specific. There was also a gap of a year when I didn’t do TV, I only did theater, so I took my time, calmed down and thought about some things. I believe the “Beach” series came at the right time.”
-Why did you decide to take a year off television?
“Land of Olives” was a daily series that played Monday through Sunday. He needed a break. At some point, the viewer gets tired of seeing you all the time. On the other hand, I also wanted to get some distance. To be involved in the theater and to make my company with bags. Things came to me the way I wanted them… As soon as I calmed down and took my time, the proposal for Paralia came up.”
– How much did publicity change your life and your everyday life?
“I can’t say that I felt any huge change in my life. The only good thing is when people come and talk to you about your role or say nice and flattering things to you.”
-You seem like a down-to-earth girl, have your minds ever been blown by the sudden recognition?
“I think not. I grew up in a family where both my parents are local. In other words, I was familiar with the artistic field, all of this did not suddenly appear in front of me. Also, both my parents are very down to earth.”
-It helped you that your parents are artists, your mom an actress, your dad a director…
“It helped me a lot because I had learned from a very young age that acting is a job like any other, with the only difference being that you are exposed to the lights and the public. In other words, I didn’t have it like a fairy tale in my head.”
-Have you ever been in the process of comparing yourself to your mother?
“We are two completely different people with completely different characters. I never got into a process of comparison.”
-What advice did your mother, Evelina Papoulia, give you?
“Not to fear change, but stagnation. This is also the motto in my life. I like change, trying new things and creating.”
-Would you like to work with her at some point on television or in the theater?
“I have not yet had this need. I’m glad we both do different things.”
