Stephen Graham has joined the cast of the upcoming Netflix movie ‘Peaky Blinders’.

The “Line of Duty” star confirmed to Deadline from the London Film Festival (LFF) red carpet that the film will be his next project, before he plays Bruce Springsteen’s father in the biopic “Deliver Me From Nowhere.”

He said he’s “looking forward to seeing the kids again” on “Peaky.”

The British star did not specify the character he will play, but in the sixth and final season of the hit BBC series directed by Steven Knight, he played Hayden Stagg.

It is noted that the sixth cycle premiered in February 2022 with 3.8 million viewers, marking the best premiere of the series.

The impressive cast of “Peaky Blinders” includes Cillian Murphy, Rebecca Ferguson, Barry Keoghan and Tim Roth.

The film’s creator Steven Knight recently stated that the film is “set in World War II and it’s really good.”

Stephen Joseph Graham was born on August 3, 1973 and is a British actor and producer.

He began his career in 1990, playing major roles such as Tommy in Snatch in 2000 and Shang in Gangs of New York in 2002, before his iconic role as Andrew “Combo” Gascoigne in This Is England in 2006.

On television, Graham reprized the role of Combo in This Is England ’86 in 2010, This Is England ’88, 2011 and This Is England ’90 in 2015.

He also starred in the 2017 drama Little Boy Blue but also portrayed Al Capone in the HBO series Boardwalk Empire (2010–2014).

Graham’s film roles include but are not limited to portraying Scrum in Pirates of the Caribbean in The Irishman in 2019 in Boiling Point 2021.

He has received numerous accolades, including a Screen Actors Guild Award, nominations for five British Academy Television Awards and two British Academy Film Awards.

In 2020, he founded the production company Matriarch Productions with his wife, actress Hannah Walters.
