Actor Duda Nagle spoke about the end of his marriage with Sabrina Sato and the news that his ex-wife is pregnant with actor Nicolas Prattes. He said he was happy with the pregnancy and stated that the crisis in their relationship began well before the divorce.

The statements were made during his participation in the podcast Papagaio Falante, presented by Sérgio Mallandro and Renato Rabelo.

He revealed that he received a call from Sato after seeing the news about the pregnancy. “The funny thing is that Sabrina has been like this for a few days now: ‘Ah, I can call you, we need to exchange ideas, let’s talk quickly, do you have some time?’. Then we got to talking, we talked about others matters and such, he ended up not entering [no tema da gravidez]. But do you know when you feel energy? The energy was already there.”

The actor said he has a good relationship with his ex’s current partner. “I was very happy, because they are a very nice couple. They are a good boy, the family is good. And he has good energy, they both have good energy together. It will be good for Zoe, and it will be good for Sabrina , it’s going to be good for everyone. So, I’m glad it worked out and that she found a cool guy. I’m really rooting for them.”

When asked about the separation after seven years together, he stated that things had not been going well for a while. “Our crisis started before, so, in the seven years, it was where we couldn’t take it anymore”, he explained.

“Why did the relationship end?” asked one of the presenters. Nagle said he thinks it “wasn’t meant to be.”

“It’s a situation, several factors that led us to distance ourselves as a couple. The routine was very different, very intense, each one going different ways”, commented the actor.

He talked about issues he was unable to fulfill in the relationship. “Maintain more of a routine, allocate more energy, because there’s no point arriving at the end of the day when we’re both tired and saying ‘so today is our night to have wine’ […] When we can’t manage our energy, organize our priorities correctly, things end up getting lost.”

Nagle talked about working on social media, which ends up entering the home environment. “The smartphone never turns off, so you have feedback on everything all the time, all the time, so you’re measuring the audience of the previous episode, or you’re seeing how many likes, how many messages…”
