Mariah Carey gave the signal and the countdown to Christmas has officially begun. Shortly after midnight on Friday, November 1, the “Queen of Christmas” in a Halloween mood – a la Morticia Addams – sings to us: “It’s Christmas Time”.

Dressed in a black dress and diamond necklace, Carey dances with a man dressed as Gomez Addams, before pushing him off her and throwing a knife at him. Then he smiles, looks at the camera and tells us it’s time for the holiday season.

Every year right after Halloween, the award-winning singer kicks off the holiday season with delightful videos on social media.

Her upcoming Christmas tour titled ‘Mariah Carey’s Christmas Time’ will kick off on November 6th in Highland, California as she revealed over the summer. With stops in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Phoenix and Dallas, among others, the tour will conclude on December 17th at Barclay’s Arena in Brooklyn, New York.

This year, the singer celebrates the 30th anniversary of her ‘Merry Christmas’ album, which includes the iconic ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’. The famous song he wrote in about 15 minutes with Walter Afanasieff topped Billboard’s Top 100 Songs list for the first time in 2019 and has been the most popular Christmas song of all time on the Billboard Holiday 100 ever since.
