Adele added a special touch to her Halloween concert in Las Vegas as she appeared dressed as Madeline Ashton, Meryl Streep’s role from the 1992 classic ‘Death Becomes Her’. Her appearance in a blonde wig and silver jacket stole the show, but what followed was even more impressive.

During her performance, Adele spotted Meryl Streep in the audience and excitedly approached her. Streep, responding warmly, bowed and the two women then shared a hug. Adele, still singing, said with emotion: “I love you.”

The touching moment comes after Adele had a similar meeting with Celine Dion, showing her appreciation for the leading women in music and theater who move and inspire her.
