The United States will hold elections on Tuesday (5) to decide who will occupy the Presidency for the next four years and to choose parliamentarians for the House of Representatives and around a third of the senators. Celebrities made a point of sharing that they went to the polls to exercise their rights as citizens.
Julia Roberts, who had previously announced her support for candidate Kamala Harris, published a selfie with the “I Voted” stamp, received by voters after participating in the polls, glued to her shirt. Chris Pratt and Mark Ruffalo also showed off theirs.
In the US, there is also the option to vote in advance and voting is not mandatory. Olivia Rodrigo, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Demi Lovato, Sarah Jessica Parker and Jennifer Aniston were some of the names that had already encouraged their fans and followers to vote.
Among the famous, Donald Trump is not proving to be a favorite. Lily Collins, Ariana Grande, Gwyneth Paltrow, Selena Gomez, Hailey Bieber, Taylor Swift and Mandy Moore were a few more names that declared support for Kamala or just encouraged their followers to go vote.
