Melania Trump has strongly denied that she has had any cosmetic surgery and that she has resorted to…the scalpel
Melania Trumpwho will cross the threshold of the White House for the second time as First Lady, is an impressive woman. She worked as a model and it was her appearance – initially – that attracted the attention and interest of Donald Trump.
Born Melania Knaus in Slovenia, she left her country for Milan and Paris wanting to become a model. Her career brought her to the US in 1996, she met Donald Trump two years later and married him in 2005. Together they have a son, Barron. Her American adventure brought her to the world’s most famous presidential residence, allowed her to live a lavish life between Trump Tower overlooking Central Park and her husband’s imposing Florida estates.
So, on election day too, Melania Trump stole the show. When she showed up with her husband at a polling station near Mar-a-Lago, wearing oversized sunglasses, social media users went into overdrive and various conspiracy theories began to flood cyberspace. “It’s not Melania but her lifeguard”many wrote.
However, the “Daily Mail” solved…the mystery. She contacted plastic surgeons, who reported that the future First Lady did indeed look different. Dennis Schimpf, a plastic surgeon based in South Carolina, said that Mrs. Melania Trump “probably she has ‘teased’ her face, anticipating her husband’s victory and her subsequent overexposure in the media.”
According to Dr Thomas Barnes, a plastic surgeon in Newport Beach, California, Mrs Trump “just looked tired”, likely from her husband’s grueling campaign.
Melania Trump has strongly denied that she has had any cosmetic surgery and that she has resorted to…the scalpel, despite widespread speculation to the contrary. However, plastic surgeons in the past have claimed that she has probably had fillers in her cheeks, botox in various places, a nose job and a face lift.
Melania Trump has been virtually invisible throughout her husband’s campaign, making a rare appearance at the President-elect’s rally at Madison Square Garden. She shocked the Manhattan crowd when her name was called and she took the stage saying: “I love New York… I wanted to support my husband. So I was there for him and everyone else.”
Dressed in Dior, she smiled graciously alongside her husband on the day of his sweeping victory, wearing her glasses again.
Dennis Schimpf offered another explanation for the unusual decision to wear her sunglasses indoors. He said: “He could have done some filler (filling the wrinkles on the face, neck and eyes) and to increase the volume in the cheeks. This often causes bruising, so it makes sense that she wears sunglasses.’
