Pedro Pascal’s younger sisterLux, stole the show on Wednesday night, November 13, 2024, at its premiere “Gladiator 2”.

The 49-year-old actor stars as Marcus Acacius, a Roman general trained by Russell Crowe’s Maximus. And always his supportive sister, 32-year-old Luxwas by his side at the film’s UK premiere, with the siblings showing off their sweet bond on the red carpet.

Lux, 32, stepped out in a daring black cut-out dress and was soon inundated with compliments on social media, with many wanting to know more about the actor’s sister, who revealed her transition in 2021.

‘Narcos’ and ‘The Last Of Us’ star Pedro Pascal has admitted he is extra protective of his sister and has won praise from fans for his LGBTQ advocacy. As he has said, Lux is a strong personality and doesn’t need to rely on him for support, citing traits: “I need her more than she does.”

Lux, who is dating actor and musician José Antonio Raffo de la Jara, was born in 1992 and is the youngest of her three siblings. While Pedro grew up mostly in Texas, Lux was born in Orange County in June 1992.

Their mother, a child psychologist, and father, a fertility doctor, were forced to flee Chile under Pinochet in 1976, but returned after Lux was born. Like her brother, Lux is also an actress having graduated from the prestigious Julliard School in 2023. She has played roles in the films ‘The Prince, Invisible Heroes’ and the drama series ‘Los 80’, and has starred alongside her brother in the movie “Narcos”.

Lux publicly revealed her gender transition in 2021, appearing on the cover of ‘Ya’ magazine’s February issue. The actress had said that she started taking hormone therapy, with her entire family around her and supporting her. “It was something normal for my family and something that everyone expected to happen. It doesn’t bother me to see old photos of myself”the actress explained.

In the interview, she described herself as “a baby learning to walk.” Describing her life before transitioning, she said it was like playing with a deck of cards that wasn’t hers. “While I was in the dark I gathered the cards to make another deck. And finally I dared to join this game with my own cards, as the person that I am.”

And he added: “Moving in the world as a woman is much simpler for me, but I still argue that people like me should have a place in society. It didn’t cost me anything to come out as gay.”

Lux has stated that she is willing to fight for the rights of the transgender community. “We need trans activists who are good, smart, informed and who can be strong voices against transphobia, homophobia and racism.”
