In an interview with THReporter, she Selena Gomezwho is currently focusing on acting, with recent appearances in the movie “Emilia Perez” and the series “Only Murders In The Building” mentioned her music career.

Speaking about what she hopes to achieve professionally, the actress and singer hinted at a greater focus on the film and television side of things.
“I think I’ve done everything I wanted to do in music” he said. “It’s exciting because I feel like I haven’t even started in film and TV, even though I know I’ve been in some great projects and I’m really proud of them. I like that I have to earn my place and I like the narrative. So I’m excited to do more on that.” he clarified.

When asked to elaborate on the music aspect of her career, Gomez explained: “It’s almost over. The music is not abandoned. I just put it aside for a while”. She also added that she feels healthier in acting than in music because it doesn’t always have to be personal.
In a recent interview with NME when asked if there are plans for a new album, Selena Gomez replied: “Well, if I had, I’d love to talk about it. I think at the moment it’s really nice to focus on that side of the pitch. We’ll see, you never know.”
