The Happy Traveler family, for the second week, continues its journey in Southeast Asia, specifically in Laos.

On Sunday November 24, they explore the city of Luang Prabang with its impressive temples and dozens of Buddhist monks. They experience the very special morning ritual with the monks, who go through the devotees and collect their offerings and visit the Buddhist temple in the center of Luang Prabang.

They drive a bit outside the busy parts of the country to reach the traditional rice fields and small traditional villages of Laos, where they see unique techniques used by the locals, such as paper art creations and beautiful weavings.

They then go to see the Caves of a Thousand Buddhas and get there on a small boat that takes them out to the other side of the Mekong River where the impressive cave temples are located.

The journey continues to the spectacular Kuang Si Falls, considered to be among the most beautiful in the world, and many other points of interest, in this very hospitable country of Southeast Asia.
