Nanda Costa has been in a relationship for 10 years with percussionist Lan Lahn, 56. Long before they officially met, the 38-year-old actress already admired her partner’s work.
However, four years after they started dating, the two took a break so that Nanda could have new experiences.
“When I was four years old, I started looking aside. Our arrangement was monogamous, it still is, but I started looking aside. The arrangement doesn’t fit. What are we going to do?”, said the actress during her appearance on the Mamilos podcast. “She said ‘go live’. I lived and it’s good that I wanted to come back and that there was time. I lived what I needed because there is an age difference, so I had to live some things. I made a mess and came back.”
The decade-long union resulted in twins Tim and Kiê. The couple has now moved to Salvador, the percussionist’s hometown and ideal place to raise their daughters, according to Nanda.
“Being able to offer this life with this cultural richness, diversity, gastronomy, music. It makes me very proud to be able to give this slowdown, it’s a luxury.”
They began their relationship in 2018 after four years of dating. In the conversation, the actress said that she was tired of hiding her relationship and said that she had not come out of the closet. “I took a closet off my back.”
