Luísa Sonza counters Maurício Meirelles after criticism about ‘having sex a lot’

The singer Luísa Sonza, 23, and the comedian Maurício Meirelles, 38, exchanged barbs on social media this Monday morning (14). It all started at dawn this Sunday (13), when Meirelles tweeted: “Do we understand that Luísa Sonza has sex a lot or does she need one more song?”.

In the early hours of Monday, the singer responded to the tweet and criticized the comedian’s stance. “We already understand that this guy is dull and needs to badmouth me to see if engagement improves?” she began.

After Sonza’s response, the comedian shared a video on his Instagram, aimed at the artist’s fans and the singer herself. “To the followers of singer Luiza Sonza”, he wrote in the caption of the record shared this Monday morning.

“Since morning they’ve been attacking me on social media with an emoji that vomits. I never imagined that the term having too much sex could be offensive and I’m reflecting on the subject. I apologize to singer Luísa Sonza and Neymar, because I already said that Neymar too much sex,” he began.

“Actually, I didn’t come to apologize, because I felt offended. We are in a time of empathy and people like me and my friends, who have children, we take offense to this kind of thing. It’s absurd you, Luísa Sonza, singing about having too much sex,” he continued.

“Because you don’t think about people who don’t have sex too much and are offended by it… You didn’t have empathy for people. It’s your mistake and I await an apology”, completed the comedian. In the comments, followers commented with laughing emojis. Initially, the artist’s comment was made after the release of the track “Café da Manhã ;P”, a partnership between Sonza and Ludmilla.
