Miley Cyrus is nominated for a Golden Globe after more than 15 years and welcomes the return of Pamela Anderson to the big screen.

After announcing her nomination for Best Original Song, the singer-actress thanked Anderson and director Gia Coppola for their contributions to the film “The Last Showgirl” with her song “Beautiful That Way”co-written by Andrew Wyatt and Lykke Li.

During a discussion last month at Deadline’s Sound & Screen Film, Wyatt and Li referenced the song they wrote with Miley Cyrus, noting that her experience as a former child star and current pop star gave her a relevant perspective on the film. .

“She felt like it was something she could talk about because even though she’s so young, she still has all that experience and those layers in her voice.” Wyatt said, adding that the song is about people who have gone through many phases in their lives.
