Jennifer Lopez was shocked when a reporter made a comment about her age during a screening of her latest film ‘Unstoppable’. The 55-year-old artist was chatting with Variety editor Clayton Davis when he teased her about her age.
“I can’t believe it’s been 30 years since the movie Selena”he said to one excerpt shared by TMZreferring to her role in the 1997 Selena Quintanilla-Pérez biopic.
“I can’t believe that in 30 years we’ll be doing a retrospective and you’ll be 60 by then, which is…”he said, while Lopez replied in amazement, “Wow.”
The star didn’t seem offended as she turned to the audience and said she wanted to thank them for sticking with her for so long. “What a trip that was”Lopez said, “and I honestly feel like the best is yet to come.”
Addressing the audience, the artist said: “These kinds of roles change you. They come to you at times in your life when you need them and help you grow and heal you in a way,” he added.
Lopez and Davis know each other, having previously interviewed her for the ‘Awards Circuit’ podcast.
The actress looked stunning in a sheer shirt and light blue ensemble as she promoted her ex-husband Ben Affleck’s film.
