Twins Maiara and Maraisa form the best musical duo of 2024, according to F5 Award voters. And they deserved it. Throughout the season, the singers from São José dos Quatro Marcos (MT) were very prominent.
The numbers explain the protagonism of the country sisters. Together, they reached the mark of 6 billion plays on Spotify and occupied 3rd place for weeks in the ranking of most listened to Brazilian artists on the platform. There, there are more than 12 million monthly listeners.
In June, the duo was awarded in the popular song category at the 31st edition of the Brazilian Music Awards, which took place at Theatro Municipal, in Rio de Janeiro. They were also awarded the duo of the year trophy at the 2024 Jovem Brasileiro Award, held in September.
The song “Morena de Goiânia – Ao Vivo”, released in March, in partnership with Hugo and Guilherme, exploded on streaming platforms with more than 110 million reproductions. On YouTube, the official clip had 86 million views.
And the year 2024 still has one last emotion in store for the singers, who are part of the Amigas special. They made a televised presentation on Globo last Wednesday (18). In addition to the sisters, Ana Castela, Lauana Prado and Simone Mendes took the stage. Only success!
