Member of the British royal family breaks both wrists after falling down the palace stairs

Princess Michael of Kent, wife of Prince Michael of Kent, suffered an accident at Kensington Palace, England, where she lives.

According to the Daily Mail, the princess was in good spirits during the Christmas celebration. She suffered multiple fractures in her wrists trying to stop the impact of the fall.

SUSPICIOUS DEATH

In February this year, Princess Michael’s son-in-law died under suspicious circumstances. Thomas Kingston was 45 years old and married to Lady Gabriella Windsor, 43, the youngest daughter of the Kent couple.

Thomas was found dead in his parents’ home, with a gunshot wound to his head. The death is being investigated as a suicide, but traces of controlled medications were found in forensic examinations.

Before marrying Lady Gabriella, Thomas dated Pippa Middleton, sister of the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton.

In an interview with Majesty Magazine in March, Princess Michael mourned her son-in-law’s death: “He was a lovely, kind and intelligent man. They were very happy together,” she said. “On Sundays we had them for lunch with Freddie and the children,” she said, referring to her eldest son, Lord Frederick Windsor, and her grandchildren.
