Baldoni’s comments about porn surfaced after Lively complained of sexual harassment by her ‘It Ends With Us’ co-star
Justin Baldoni previously admitted to having an “unhealthy” relationship with porn in an interview that resurfaced amid her allegations Blake Lively for sexual harassment against him.
“I was introduced to porn when I was 10 years old. Long before I knew how to get an erection or what was going on in my body.”he had said in an episode of the podcast “A Life of Greatness” by Sarah Grynberg.

“It was, you know, like any young boy who sees women’s breasts for the first time. It’s exciting because this whole thing is out of our culture now. You go to places like Africa and different tribes and breasts are breasts. We’ve sexualized this thing, so of course it becomes exciting and interesting and you’re like, “Oh my god, breasts.” And then, you know, the hormones start raging.”
The 40-year-old actor and his director “It Ends With Us” said he “seeked refuge” in porn when he felt lonely, abandoned or hurt. “I found throughout my life that I would look at pictures and videos of naked women when I was feeling bad about myself”Baldoni admitted and added: “And I knew it was an issue for me when I was telling myself I don’t want to do this.”
Baldoni’s comments about porn surfaced, after Lively complained of sexual harassment by her ‘It Ends With Us’ co-star, while she claims Justin Baldoni hatched an entire scheme to ‘ruin’ her reputation.
According to the New York Times, the lawsuit – which was filed on Friday, December 20, 2024 – includes “thousands of pages of text messages and emails” that Lively obtained through a subpoena.
In a message reportedly sent on August 2, a publicist working with the studio and Baldoni wrote to a crisis management expert: “He wants to feel like he can be buried.” According to the report, Jed Wallace led a digital strategy that, in part, boosted social media posts that could help their cause. In simple words, to strengthen Baldoni’s image and “bury” the actress.

In additional text messages, Baldoni allegedly encouraged the public relations team and indicated specific social media posts to be used. On August 15, he suggested “flipping the narrative” to a positive story about Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, “using their own words against them.”
Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, spoke of “false, outrageous and deliberately obscene” Lively’s accusations in a statement to Us Weekly. The lawyer also claimed that Lively raised “multiple demands and threats” during the filming of the film, among others “threatening not to appear on set, threatening not to promote the film, ultimately leading to its destruction during its release if her demands were not met.”

In a statement to the New York Times about her lawsuit, Lively said: “I hope my legal action will help expose these dark retaliatory tactics used to harm those who dare to speak out about misconduct and help protect others who may be targeted.”
