Liam Gallagher seems to have changed his mind about his favorite Christmas song.

The singer of Oasis took part in a Q&A with fans about the Christmas holiday on social media.

Liam Gallagher, who is set to begin touring with his brother Noel for the band’s much-anticipated reunion next year, revealed his favorite Christmas song on X/Twitter last week.

“What’s your favorite Christmas song?” a fan asked the singer.

“The Last Christmas by Wham!” he answered.

Many fans agreed with his choice, which topped the UK charts last Christmas.

However, others were surprised as Liam Gallagher is a known fan of John Lennon’s ‘War is Over’, so much so that he and Noel almost had a fight some Christmases over which is the best festive hit.

“Not answering John Lennon’s ‘War is Over’ is shocking,” one fan joked.

“Did you really fight with Noel about what the best Christmas song is?” asked another follower.

Speaking to Radio X, Noel Gallagher recalled the incident and that he had chosen Slade’s ‘Merry Christmas Everybody’ as his top Christmas tune.

“This argument got so heated, people had to step in and say, ‘Wait what are you doing? You’re going to start a fight over a Christmas carol?'”
