Bodybuilder and deputy Felipe Franco accuses Military Police of assault at Chris Brown concert

Bodybuilder and state deputy for the Union Felipe Franco, 39, took to social media to accuse military police officers of aggression. With a swollen eye, he stated that he had been punched by one of the officers at Allianz Park. With his wife, he followed the Chris Brown show.

Videos circulating on social media show the moment in which Franco’s girlfriend, Inaê Barros, had an argument with some people inside the stadium. She goes so far as to kick a man in the leg. Afterwards, Felipe made some videos denouncing an alleged attack.

“I have all the bracelets from the tour, the police punched me in the face, right? I’m here in the room, bro, a couple (sic) of police making me crazy. Then, governor, I got beaten up, right?”, he said when quoting Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans).

In his version, the couple was trying to access the other side of the box they were entitled to when they were blocked and attacked by event security guards. “I didn’t do anything,” Franco said.

According to the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat, the case was registered as bodily injury and contempt at the 1st Tourist Assistance Police Station (Deatur). In a statement, the secretariat states that the congressman and his girlfriend were involved in a widespread confusion with security guards at the site, with two employees being injured.

“The parties were taken to the police station, where the deputy disrespected the police officers. The parties involved were advised on the deadline for criminal representation and a copy of the bulletin was forwarded to the Legislative Assembly, due to the politician’s jurisdiction.”

Now, the Military Police are analyzing the images of what happened, and the Internal Affairs Department is available for any reports of excess.
