‘Queen B’ was reportedly paid $20 million (!) for 13 minutes of airtime – that’s over $1 million per minute
A 13-minute “cowboy” music-and-dance extravaganza presented Christmas at halftime of the NFL (professional American football), superstar Beyonce (Beyonce), which aired on NETFLIX.
According to information from American publications, “Queen B” was allegedly paid for 13 minutes of appearance 20 million dollars (!) – more than 1 million dollars per minute that is.
Many are reporting that the 20 million was part of a 60 million deal the star signed with the platform in 2019, which covered three of her appearances.
Beyoncé was paid an estimated $20 million for her Super Bowl halftime show performance yesterday, which many have deemed underwhelming. Others are calling her overrated.
In 2019, Beyoncé signed a $60 million deal with Netflix that involved three projects.

In addition to the … giddiness caused by her pay, many also reacted to her gesture of forming a gun with two fingers while performing the hit “Texas Hold’Em”.
Maybe one of the most “Hey NFL, stop being so fucking stupid” moments of all time…
Flagging players for any type of gun related celebrations, and then having Beyoncé shoot a fake gun and release and giant banner that says “BANG.”

The National Football League prohibits the gun gesture and imposes a 15-yard penalty on any player who commits the offense. However, Beyoncé performed her choreography as usual.
“Will the NFL fine Beyoncé for her gun gesture?” one social media user tentatively commented.
