Isabel Veloso gives birth to her first child at 32 weeks of gestation

Arthur, the first child of Isabel Veloso, 18, was born this Sunday (29). The influencer, who is fighting Hodgkins Lymphoma, diagnosed in 2021, had to bring forward the birth due to her health. The baby was born at 32 weeks of gestation, via cesarean section, in a maternity hospital in the city of Cascavel, Paraná.

Before the birth, Isabel’s husband, Lucas Borbas, shared a photo on social media, showing the couple in the delivery room. Hours later, he announced the birth of the couple’s first child: “I’m a father.”

Before giving birth, Isabel had already warned her followers about the possibility of Arthur’s premature birth and regretted it. “It wasn’t my choice to have the baby now, ahead of time. I blamed myself a lot. But I also can’t want to overdo it, wait until 40 weeks and not be well”, he explained.

Veloso also explained that the disease progressed a few months after discovering the pregnancy. Since then, he returned to chemotherapy treatment, but the results were not positive. “The chemo had no effect. The tumors in the chest grew, forming a single mass”, he said on his social networks.
