Like many of those who went through Big Brother, Grazi Massafera saw her life change after winning the fifth edition of the program. Born in Paraná and a Miss, she told ‘BBB: O Documentário’ how she overcame her “dumb blonde” image and became a successful actress.
Grazi credited Pedro Bial, then host of the program, with supporting him in subverting his image. “I thought I was the stupid blonde (…). Bial was the first to come up with this vision for myself. That I could be more than just Miss”, she said.
In the interview, she also recalled the surprise of emerging as champion of the program: “When I enter the program, I expect to change my life, to make money, to do some things… But it was a shock, a scare, when I left, because it was much bigger than I imagined. They were all different. My father and mother had already given interviews.”
When the opportunity came to audition for “Verdades Secretas” (2015), Grazi decided to go all out and believe in her potential. The role earned her a nomination for best actress at the International Emmy. “They call it luck. It’s the way to reduce all your power,” he said.
“BBB was unique in my life. Anyone who enters thinking they will become a Sabrina [Sato]a Grazi, it’s good to believe that it’s possible, but it’s not easy”, declared the actress.
