BBB 25: Edilberto and Raissa, father and daughter, are confirmed as a duo in the reality show; get to know

This Thursday (9), Globo announced the names of Edilberto, 42, and Raissa, 19, as participants in the 25th edition of Big Brother Brasil. In the program, which this year is played in pairs, father and daughter, circus artists, will be paired together.

The revelation was made during the break in the soap opera “Tieta”. The two work as circus artists in the family business. The caravan travels through interior cities and, every 15 days, is in different places.

Better known as Ed, Edilberto is from Elói Mendes and lives in Ubá, in Minas Gerais. He started working as a clown at the age of five and is from the 6th generation of a traditional circus family. Among the many roles he performs in the circus, being a clown is the one he performs with the most joy. He has been married for 20 years and has three daughters. He set up a circus with his wife where the whole family works.

Ed says he is very competitive, excited and eager to face challenges. Raissa guarantees that her father is her “candy shell” and considers him a person with a good heart. “We are funny and stress in the same way. In addition to being father and daughter, we are best friends,” she says.

Raissa was born in Ubá, in Minas Gerais, and is single. Like her father, she was raised in the circus. As a child, he learned to hula hoop, a routine he still performs today. He also performs with archery and acts as a children’s character. She says she is lively, but admits to having a slightly annoying side. She considers herself charismatic, emotional and a little reactive – a characteristic that her father confirms. “She really fights back,” says Ed about his daughter’s temperament, which he finds very similar to his own.

The pair said they have an unusual connection and said they are the same in temperament. For the father, Big Brother is a long-time dream. Excited for the competition, he explains why he chose Raissa as a partner for BBB: “My daughter is my female version, and I think I’m very competent to enter and win the program. Imagine that times two.”
