This Thursday (9), Globo announced the names of João Gabriel and João Pedro, 21, as participants in the 25th edition of Big Brother Brasil. In the program, which this year is played in pairs, twin brothers, both cattle ranchers and influencers from Buriti Alegre, will be paired up.
The revelation was made during the break of the soap opera “Garota do Momento”. The brothers are from Goiatuba and live in Buriti Alegre, a city in Goiás. The two are rodeo lifeguards and also share their life in the countryside on social media, being known as “the agricultural gemim”.
The duo already had more than 700,000 followers on social media before the announcement, but even so, the two joined the Pipoca group. His fame began when João Pedro won Reality dos Agroboys, organized by comedian Jacques Vanier in 2021.
Extroverted, João Gabriel likes to make friends. Despite this, he says that he is the more heated of the two, especially when they mess with his brother, in which situation he immediately takes sides. He also considers himself humble, faithful and quite competitive. He shares with João Pedro the dream of becoming a farmer and having his own four-by-four truck.
“We like life in the countryside. We are very similar in everything, but my brother is the most heated. I have to keep holding him in this dance of life”, jokes João Pedro about João Gabriel.
João Pedro is the calmest of the pair; he justifies it by saying that he knows how to deal with people and that, therefore, he is someone who is very difficult to stress. His weak point is being called names. In this case, he assumes that he retaliates in kind. He learned from his uncle how to work with cattle, which to this day is his greatest passion. “My brother is more of a flirt, he starts on everyone. He’s talkative”, reveals João Gabriel about João Pedro.
João Gabriel also said that he is attached to his family: “My greatest joy is when I am with my family. We are both very similar, we are for each other, and our connection is very strong.”
