The announcement was made on the ERT1 show “I saw you in the morning” with Jeni Melitas and Fotis Sergoulopoulos, while last night, the well-known music presenter Thodoris Rakintzis reported a scandal to the committee.

Specifically, he mentioned that two of the members of the jury, Michalis Hatzigiannis and Stefania Lymberakaki, have professional relationships with some of the candidates (Arcade and Salina Gavalas), who ultimately did not qualify.

According to ERT, the song entitled “I will learn to love” performed by Salina Gavalas and Tsiak, composed by Babis Stokas and lyricists Babis Stokas and Panagiotis Tsiakalakis (Tsiak) was excluded from the National Final, as despite the Terms and Conditions for Participation in the Selection Process, the title of the song was made public (made known to the audience) by the performer.

Replaced by the first on the backup list, song. It is about the song entitled “Unhurt me”, performed by Nausika Gavrilakis and composed and written by Dimitris Koumpis and Nausikas Gavrilakis.

The 69th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Basel, Switzerland, from 13 to 17 May 2025.
