BBB 25: Seu Fifi, leader’s apartment, prize of R$6 million: find out what’s new in the edition

After announcing the participants of BBB 25, Globo gathered the press this Friday (10) to present the main news of the next edition of the reality show, which starts next Monday (13). Presenter Tadeu Schmidt, the new nucleus director, Rodrigo Dourado, the program’s general director, Angélica Campos, and production manager Mariana Monaco, spoke about the leader’s new room, the millionaire prize, how the dynamics of doubles and more.

As already anticipated, this year, participants will once again arrive at the house after a motorcade through the streets of Rio de Janeiro. As soon as they step into Estúdios Globo, however, they will be surprised by the first dynamic, which will define whether they will enter VIP status (with perks and various food options) or Xepa status (with rationed food).

According to the program’s management, it will be the first litmus test to find out whether the relationships between the couples really are deep. They will have to demonstrate that they really know each other by answering questions about their partner. Whoever gets the most right goes to VIP, whoever gets it wrong will have to settle for Xepa.

YOUR FIFI

Among the new features, one of the main highlights was a robot called Seu Fifi. It is a “gossip” android that will record the conversations of those confined and, depending on the public’s choice, will reveal them to the brothers in the house.

“At a certain point, the public will decide which conversation Seu Fifi will reveal to his opponents,” said Tadeu. “An incredible gossip.”

The scenes recorded by Seu Fifi will appear on LED screens that were installed in several rooms of the house, like the one installed at the head of the bed in the room dedicated to the 1960s.

LEADER’S APARTMENT

The Leader will have even more privileges in this edition of BBB. Instead of a room, he will have an entire apartment to himself.

The room cannot be visited by journalists during a visit to the house, also this Friday. However, it is already known that it will have a complete kitchen, which means that the Leader will not necessarily need to share the VIP and Xepa kitchens with the other participants.

PRIZE VALUE

Once again, the cash prize for the winner will be R$3 million. However, there is also the possibility of winning other prizes throughout the competition. The final value could reach R$6 million, according to Dourado.

The director of Globo’s reality shows group stated that this is a record for the program, which is the network’s highest grossing. The other R$3 million could come from the sum of prizes that will be distributed throughout the season, such as cars that will be given to the winners of certain races.

DOUBLE DYNAMICS: TWO PHASES

The participants have been announced and will enter the house in pairs, but that doesn’t mean they will continue like this until the end of the program. Dourado said that this will only happen in the first phase of the program, when tests, leadership, voting and eliminations will be done in pairs.

“In this first one, it’s as if the pair were just one player. Vote as a pair, by consensus. Leader pair, Angel pair, will be voted as a pair and yes, they will be eliminated as a pair at the start of the season”, he says.

In a second moment, the start of which was not specified, the game becomes individual. From then on, even members of the same pair will be able to vote for each other. In the end, BBB 25 will only have one champion.

SINCEREON

The dynamics of Sincerão continue in this edition, with a small change: not only the protagonists of the week will participate. Supporting characters (or “plants”, as they are better known) will have a greater chance of appearing in the game.

DOUBLE ATTRACTIONS

The singers invited as party attractions will perform in pairs. They will be able to choose relatives or friends.
