The mansion where Robin Williams (1951-2014) raised his children in San Francisco, California, has just been sold for $ 18.1 million, about $ 105 million.

The actor bought the house in 1991 for $ 3.2 million (about $ 18 million) with his ex-wife, Marsha Graces Williams. The property was put for sale by Marsha last year for $ 25 million (about $ 145 million).

Marsha lived in the house for over three decades and raised her children with actor, Zelda and Cody, now 35 and 33 years old. He is also the father of Zachary, 42, from the previous wedding with Valerie Velardi.

In 2010, Marsha divorced from the actor and remained living in the property. He died four years later, at 63, at his home in Los Angeles, leaving a widow the graphic designer Susan Schneider.

The mansion

According to the real site Estate, the house was built in 1926, in an Italian Renaissance style, and restored by the couple.

The main entrance has a large terracotta floor staircase, with worked iron handles. The interior of the house preserves treasures of the original architecture, such as vaulted ceilings, wood carved lining and marble details.

“It’s a beautiful and cheerful house. We live fantastic years of fun and joy there,” said Marsha when she put the property for sale in a luxury real estate.

With 985 square meters, the house has six bedrooms, movies, gym, sauna, wet bar and an inner patio with barbecue and fireplace. The main suite has a window overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge, the city’s postcard, as well as a bathroom with Japanese woodworking and hot tub

The kitchen is equipped with French branded appliances La Cornue, high luxury woodworking with wooden and dismissal details. The underground has cellar, bunkers and coffers.

The actor left two other properties: a beach house in Tiburon and a farm in Napa Valley, both in California. The farm was called Villa Sorriso.
